Jamie has been involved with many musical projects throughout his life. Music became a focal point beginning in December of 2000 when he and two friends formed the band Blackbelt. After two and a half years of performing local gigs and numerous line up changes, the remaining members dispersed. After arriving in high school, Jamie got invloved with the theater and his roles include Seymour Krelbourn (Little Shop of Horrors), P.T. Barnum (Barnum), Edgar/Bat Boy (Bat Boy: The Musical), Jean Valjean (Les Miserables) and Ugly (Honk!). He won the Helen Hayes Musical Theatre Award for Outstanding Actor in a Lead Role for his portrayal of Seymour Krelbourn and was nominated three more times. In 2006 he formed the award-winning band Gemini which received high praise and a cult fan base in the greater Boston area. While with Gemini he continued to do shows as a solo act. In spring of 2008 Alimorad officially went solo and continued to write and record on his own. With a renewed spirit and new band behind him Alimorad is ready to spread his wings and begin a music revolutionin high school, Jamie got invloved with the theater and his roles include Seymour Krelbourn (Little Shop of Horrors), P.T.
